The local newspaper NNP wrote about the Harmonie Festival press conference.
Dear friends of choral music and folklore, dear ensemble leaders and organizers,
in recent weeks, we, the festival organization in the relevant committees and the committees of our association, have intensively dealt with what the national and global effects of the corona pandemic and the terrible Russian war of aggression against Ukraine can mean for the organization and implementation and ultimately also for the success of our international HARMONIE FESTIVAL in May 2023.
In a weighing of all possible risks and scenarios taking into account various – also economic – aspects for the festival itself and our association „Harmonie Lindenholzhausen e.V.“ we have now finally and with a heavy heart come to the decision to postpone our festival, originally advertised for 2023, by one year. The next HARMONIE FESTIVAL will therefore take place in 2024.
We are very sure that we will be able to offer and carry out a HARMONIE FESTIVAL on the new date, which will be in no way inferior to the previous HARMONIE FESTIVALS in terms of atmosphere, scope, internationality, musical-artistic quality and its unifying character.
We ask for your understanding for this decision. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us as the person responsible for the organizing association „Harmonie Lindenholzhausen e.V.” and the festival organization.
The call for applications for the HARMONIE FESTIVAL remains unchanged. Information on this can also be found on our festival homepage, which has already been updated for 2024:

Please remain friendly with us. Let`s stay connected.
Yours sincerely,
Manfred Neunzerling Marco Löw Gerhard Neunzerling-Dernbach

Lindenholzhausen belongs to the city of Limburg/Lahn, which is considered one of the most attractive places in Germany with its picturesque old town and cathedral, founded more than 750 years ago. All members of the Male Choir “HARMONIE Lindenholzhausen” with friends and other helpers work on a honorary basis for the festival.
‚Olympic atmosphere at the HARMONIE FESTIVAL‘ – is how the ‚International Choral Bulletin‘ (ICB) titled its report on the HARMONIE FESTIVAL 2011.
With its cultural diversity, high artistic quality and a wide range of national and international choir and folklore competitions and events the forthcoming HARMONIE FESTIVAL will certainly reconfirm its outstanding reputation of a wonderful festival atmosphere and as one of the most outstanding music festivals in the world.
We promise you enriching experiences, wonderful choral and dance performances by choirs and dance and music ensembles from different nationalities and cultures, international exchange, as well as a cordial hospitality in Lindenholzhausen and surroundings.
